I attended Image Consulting Foundation and Advanced programs many years back and love that one day I could teach this subject matter to others who is a passionate as me to guide and coach people to be the best version of themselves.
While image consulting heavily focusses on the technical knowledge of image e.g. line and designs, colours, shapes. I felt what was missing was the Inner Essence of the person. Everyone of us are unique and talented in our own way. In many occasions when I was learning image consulting formally, I was taught the technical information of image consulting whilst is very interesting on the aesthetic effect on a human face and body, I was also thinking how can I relate these to the person who he or she truly is. I am an introvert hence naturally expressing myself was not my best strength. Till today I am still working on articulating myself in the best manner that others understood what I am sharing in conference, seminars and classes. While the audience applaud me of my presentation and sharing that seems so effortlessly and natural. I know behind the scene; I have put in near to 3 decades of dedicated hard work to reinvent myself to be able to command the attention and authority and showcase credibility on stage.
I carefully documented the steps in “Reinventing Myself” throughout my own journey. As a result, it was a “bullet-proof” process that I now teach and coach people whom aspired to be a Transformational Image Consultant.
Being an introvert, I kick start my career in the corporates. No ones in my family runs a business. I was courageous enough to believe that I can offer “Transformational Image Consulting” services and courses to others and earn a living. It is a roller coaster journey for me and it is all worth it.
Fast forward coming near to 3 decades of doing this transformational work, it is soul rewarding, fulfilling and a sense of satisfaction. Do I love what I do? YESSSSS 😊 Is it easy? NO. I love on this passionate work, everyday is a fun day, everyday is me and the team chasing time to complete tasks. Is like never ending tasks… but is joy, excitement, grow together.
Transformational image consulting draws out the best and true essence of each person and have it present in the outer appearances. The details of the person’s appearance from hair style, clothing, body language etc. projects the inner essence of the person. You get to be YOU. You do not need to be someone else and that is liberating. Ultimately, when you are your best version, why you need to be someone else. This is good news to many people especially the introverts (talking from my experience).
I am proud to be able to train and coach people to become a Transformational Image Consultant because it is an amazing career that you touch others’ life and it is significantly transformational.
