Dressing for Well Being

Have you heard of Dressing for Well being? It is a program and consultation session that I started with my team in 2014 after understand the effects of material, fitting on our body.

I personal went through a wardrobe revamping that now almost 95% of my wardrobe is functional, stylish and comfortable clothing and accessories.

Do you know that what you wear affects what you think, how you behave, your performance and of course how you feel?

Most apparel in the market, especially women clothing are not natural fibre that we wear those clothes, it traps heat and attract static. Fashion media has showcased that woman has to be of certain size with tight fitted clothing has further make most women out that think less of themselves when comes to their body image confidence. I too suffer that when I was in my teens and 20s. Thinking back those days it makes me realize how ignorant I am in caring and loving myself. I thought putting the best make-up, trendy clothing and to be slim is self-love. Of course, that means spending a big portion of my salary on clothing and not eating sufficient meals for my body sustenance. Is foolish and how many of you can relate to me?

I am very grateful that I get acquaint with Science and Wellness organization and get to know the founder and Ms. Aida, the head of research of the foundation back then and currently my business partner. I have the knowledge of fabric, fitting, color dyes etc. How to wear clothing and accessories to make us not just look and feel confident but also to think and breathe better. Right clothing supports your body well-being, your performance, posture, aid to your creativity and happiness in everyday life.

Through the years, we have developed a list of “360 Checklist” to guide individuals and corporate executives to dress for a purpose, performance, health and confidence. We have many testimonials on this and how it has helps that in their life. They are happy to be able to take charge to create a functional and high ROI (return on investment) wardrobe that is functional and helps them to project a professional presence at work and business.

So a tip for you. The next time you want to buy a new set apparel. Ask yourself, is the clothing gonna bring you performance? Will you be able to project confident and professionalism when you wear it.
